Every crown placed, every bridge built, to one uncompromising standard.

Crowns and bridges are two of the most reliable and time-tested restorations in dentistry and at My Favorite Dentist, both are held to the same uncompromising standard that defines everything Dr. Rafa does. A crown is a custom-crafted cap that fits over a damaged or weakened tooth, restoring its shape, strength, and appearance completely. A bridge uses two crowned teeth as anchors to support a prosthetic tooth in the space left by a missing one, closing the gap, restoring the bite, and bringing the smile back to its full function and appearance.
Every crown and bridge at My Favorite Dentist is custom-crafted by a high-quality dental lab, ensuring a fit that's accurate, a result that looks completely natural, and a restoration that's built to last. Dr. Rafa takes a meticulous approach to every case, from preparation to final placement, because a restoration that's done right the first time is one you won't have to think about again.

Crowns and bridges do more than restore the appearance of your smile, they protect your oral health, preserve your bite, and deliver results built to stand the test of time. Here's what quality restorations deliver:
A well-placed crown or bridge brings a damaged or compromised tooth back to full function — able to handle the demands of daily use without hesitation or compromise.
Every crown and bridge at My Favorite Dentist is custom-crafted to match the size, shape, and color of your natural teeth. The result is a restoration that blends seamlessly with your smile.
A complete, fully functioning smile changes how you eat, how you speak, and how you carry yourself. Crowns and bridges restore all of it — to the standard your smile deserves.

My Favorite Dentist is equipped with a 3D intraoral scanner and CBCT imaging for 3D X-rays, diagnostic advancements that give Dr. Rafa a complete picture of your oral health from the very first visit. Better information means better care, every time.

Dr. Rafa chose this community deliberately, and he's here to stay. He takes the time to know his patients, not just their charts, and holds himself to the kind of standard that turns first-time patients into lifelong ones.

When a tooth is cracked, severely decayed, or structurally compromised, a crown is the most reliable way to protect and restore it. At My Favorite Dentist, every crown is custom-crafted by a high-quality dental lab, because Dr. Rafa believes the precision and quality of a lab-made crown is worth the extra time it takes. The process begins with a careful preparation of the tooth and a precise impression, which is sent to the lab to create a crown that fits accurately and looks completely natural. Dr. Rafa reviews every crown against his own exacting standard before it's placed — and he won't seat a restoration he isn't fully satisfied with.

A dental bridge is a proven, reliable solution for replacing one or more missing teeth and at My Favorite Dentist, every bridge is custom-crafted to the same standard as our crowns. Two natural teeth on either side of the gap are prepared and crowned, with a precision-crafted prosthetic tooth suspended between them to fill the space, restore the bite, and complete the smile. Dr. Rafa takes a thorough approach to bridge planning — evaluating the health and position of the anchor teeth, assessing the bite, and ensuring the final result functions as well as it looks. If you're missing a tooth and implants aren't the right fit for your situation, a bridge is a durable, natural-looking alternative worth considering.

Crowns and bridges do more than restore the appearance of your smile, they protect your oral health, preserve your bite, and deliver results built to stand the test of time. Here's what quality restorations deliver:
Before any preparation begins, Dr. Rafa conducts a thorough evaluation of the affected tooth or teeth — using digital X-rays and 3D CBCT imaging to assess the full picture. He'll walk you through exactly what he finds, what he recommends, and what the process will look like from start to finish. No surprises, no pressure.
The tooth is carefully prepared to receive the crown — removing only what's necessary while preserving as much natural structure as possible, in keeping with Dr. Rafa's conservative philosophy. A precise digital impression is taken and sent to the dental lab, where your custom crown or bridge is crafted to exact specifications. A temporary restoration protects the tooth while the permanent one is being made.
When your permanent crown or bridge returns from the lab, Dr. Rafa evaluates it thoroughly before placing it — checking the fit, the bite, and the aesthetics against his own exacting standard. Only when he's fully satisfied does it get seated. You'll leave with a restoration that feels natural, functions reliably, and holds to the standard this practice was built on.
Have questions? We're here with answers.
A crown is typically recommended when a tooth is damaged, cracked, or weakened to the point where a filling can no longer reliably restore it. A bridge comes into play when a tooth is missing entirely and you're looking for a fixed — non-removable — replacement option. Dr. Rafa will evaluate your specific situation thoroughly and walk you through which option makes the most sense for your oral health and your goals.
Lab-made crowns are crafted by skilled dental technicians using high-quality materials and to exact specifications, resulting in a fit and finish that Dr. Rafa holds to a higher standard. For a restoration that's designed to last fifteen years or more, the extra time is worth it.
Yes. Every crown and bridge at My Favorite Dentist is custom-crafted to match the size, shape, and color of your surrounding natural teeth. Dr. Rafa works with a high-quality dental lab and reviews every restoration against his own standard before placement — because a result you can't notice is the result we're always working toward.
The preparation appointment is performed under local anesthesia, so you won't feel pain during the procedure. Some sensitivity around the prepared tooth is normal in the days following — particularly with temperature — but it typically resolves quickly. Dr. Rafa will make sure you're fully comfortable before any work begins and will provide guidance on managing any post-appointment sensitivity.
