Meet Dr. Rafael Hazembuller
Dr. Rafael Hazembuller, Dr. Rafa to his patients, took the long road to dentistry. Raised in Las Heras, a small oil town in the Argentine Patagonia, he was the first in his circle to leave, driven by parents who believed that reaching your full potential required more than staying put. He graduated valedictorian of his class, learned English as a second language, and made his way to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, halfway around the world from where he started.
It was in his final semester at BYU that dentistry found him.
"Dentistry is about people, my favorite thing in the world, and smiles, my close second. Smiles are the conduit of joy."
After more than a decade in finance, he made the decision most people only think about — he walked away and started over. What followed was 12½ years of combined academic pursuit, including post-baccalaureate studies at the University of North Carolina Charlotte and a DMD from Roseman University of Health Sciences in South Jordan, Utah.
That journey led him to Texas, to the intersection of Georgetown, Liberty Hill, and Leander, where he built My Favorite Dentist from the ground up. He chose this community deliberately, and he built something worthy of it.
